Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 34 year old indian male. I was concerned about difference in size of my testicles. So I got a 3D ultrasound done. The dimensions are: Right testicle 4.19 * 2.12 * 2.69 & volume = 12.54 cc Left testicle 4.32 * 2.20 * 2.81 & volume = 14.00 cc Is the difference between the dimensions of testicles normal? According to the ultrasound, the testicles are healthy in all respects. I have no other problem.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. What ultrasound report you have furnished about the testicular dimensions is absolutely normal. There will be some amount of variation with respect to shape and size between each of the two testicles. Since the variations are not so gross, it is not pathologically significant. Also, since there are no other lesions mentioned pertaining to it, the report can be considered as normal. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
